NVM Now Open on Wednesdays!
Plus 2 Great New Exhibits for Visitors to Enjoy
The National Videogame Museum (NVM) is now open every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Due to incredible demand over the summer holidays period, the NVM has now extended its opening hours to Wednesday – Sunday every week. The NVM will be open all school holidays too, such as the upcoming October Half Term from October 23rd – 31st.
Recently, the NVM released its newest online exhibition, the Animal Crossing Diaries. This collections project tells the stories of those who played Animal Crossing: New Horizons over the last 18 months. For more information on that exhibition, as well as being able to explore it yourself, see: animalcrossingdiaries.thenvm.org.
Until 30th September 2021, the NVM is also hosting the Gang Beasts Takeover event! We’ve partnered with local develoeprs Boneloaf to showcase the amazing history behind their smash-hit game, Gang Beasts. Visitors are able to explore in-development builds of the game, take pictures with an IRL Gang Beasts wrestling ring, and find countless objects detailing the impact of the game. More information can be found here.
