We’re still open!

We have put in sufficient Covid-19 precautions to continue welcoming you to the NVM

UPDATE (26th November 2020): This information was written prior to the strengthening of the Tier 3 restrictions on 2nd December 2020. As of the current restrictions, we will remain closed. Please check back for further information, and keep an eye on our social channels.

Earlier today (21st October 2020) Sheffield City Council announced that the Sheffield City Region will be entering a Tier 3 lockdown on Saturday at 00:01am. This includes the surrounding cities of Rotherham, Doncaster and Barnsley.

Despite this lockdown forcing many hospitality venues to close, we will be continuing to remain open for this period. This includes for our Halloween Half Term Takeover, which sees us open every day from the 23rd October to 1st November.

Of course, we are prioritising the safety of our visitors, and we have made this decision based on consultation with our staff. We would like to encourage every visitor to make sure they are following the required rules that we have laid out here. Please also follow the government guidance on the tier 3 lockdown, which can be found here.

And finally, take a look at the below video, to see how we’re keeping safe at the National Videogame Museum.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

If you have any further questions about your visit, please email hello@thenvm.org, and we will get back to you shortly.
