We are giving young people the opportunity to ask an industry professional their questions about working in games as a part of Games Careers Week!
We will send your excellent questions to some lovely people within the Games Industry to share their experiences and expertise! These answers will be included in resources that showcase the variety of career pathways within games, and made freely available to participating schools after Games Careers Week.
We’ve already had some great questions from young people, from salaries to inspiration, and we can’t wait to see what you are curious about…
Average games salaries for starters (£22,765) and staff in their 20s (£26,981) are over 20% more than national averages. Mid level to senior developers can earn £40,000-£60,000 or more.
While our resources won’t be ready just yet, you don’t need to wait to get started!
Head to the Games Careers Week website to find lots of events, talks and advice about getting into games.
