At the heart of the showcase, you’ll encounter a striking 3D model display depicting one of Monument Valley’s intricate maze levels. You can also delve deeper into the creative process through “Building the Impossible: The Making of Monument Valley 3,” a behind-the-scenes video that offers an intimate look at how the newest chapter in the series was brought to life.
About Monument Valley
Monument Valley is an indie puzzle game created by ustwo games, initially released for iOS and Android systems in 2014. The original game was followed by Monument Valley 2 in 2017 and Monument Valley 3 in 2024. All three titles are now available across mobile, consoles and PC. Monument Valley 3’s expansion, The Garden of Life, has just been released across all platforms.
With a unique emphasis on beautiful design and sophisticated puzzle game-play, this game series was a revolution for mobile gaming. Its visual style draws inspiration from Japanese prints and minimalist sculpture, with its strongest influence coming from the impossible worlds of M.C. Escher.
