The original Japanese Super Mario Bros. 2 was considered to be too hard for American players.

So a Japan only game called Doki Doki Panic! was re-skinned and given new graphics transforming it into Super Mario Bros. 2 for the USA & Europe!

Later, the original Super Mario Bros. 2 was released outside Japan as ‘The Lost Levels’ and Japanese gamers got to the play the US/European version which is known as Super Mario Bros. USA!

It’s this version that is playable as part of The Uemura Collection!
