Design a Gang Beast Costume!
Beef City Fashion Week will see visitors take part in a costume competition to design an outfit for a Gang Beast, which will see winning entries judged by a local panel of games developers and fashion designers.
Beef City seemingly has it all… Unlimited, needless aggression from its residents. Senseless, clumsy violence from its community leaders. Impossibly dangerous locations to freely explore.
After a long-campaign from its residents, Gang Beasts, it’s now adding the one important element that was missing… Fashion!
The National Videogame Museum is teaming up with Gang Beasts creators Boneloaf to invite you to take part in a costume competition to design an outfit for a Gang Beast. During your visit to the museum, you can design a costume for those scrapping Gang Beasts!
There are some exciting prizes up for grabs, including tickets to the NVM and Official Boneloaf Merchandise Bundles! Entries will be judged by a very special lock panel of games developers and fashion designers!
Sounds great! How do I enter?
Visit the National Videogame Museum this summer!
During your visit you will find a competition entry station near the Game Beasts game in the galleries. There you’ll find a competition entry form with space to design your wonderful costumes. Then simply pop your completed entry form in the submissions box when you’re done!
Send us your Costume Design Online!
The NVM will be collecting online submissions through a simple form on our website (see below!). Here you can upload an image of your design, along with all your details so that we can get in touch with you if you are a winner!
Anyone under the age of 16 will need an adult’s permission to enter the competition.
Who can take part? Am I too old/young/far away?
We have a few different categories for entering the competition, for all ages! We also know that not everyone will be able to make it to the museum this summer but you can still take part by submitting your entry online!
Our categories are: Under 16s (Online & In-Person) and 16s and Over (Online & In-Person).
What do I need to include in my entry?
Ideally your design will include the front and back of the costume, and a short description.
The entry needs to be unique and totally your own original work. Make sure you think about what will make your idea stand out – funny, creative, colourful, imaginative. Lastly, make sure the costume is family-friendly!
You can download and print out our competition entry forms here. Alternatively if you don’t have access to a printer, you can draw your design straight onto paper, the back of an envelope or even a napkin! Next upload a scan, or photograph of your design to our online entry form here.
