Halloween Takeover

23rd October – 1st November 2020

This year we’re having a spooky Halloween event at the museum!

Some ghastly Videogame ghosts have taken over the NVM, and we need your help to clean it up! We’re going to be open everyday across October Half Term (23/10 – 01/11) with some special Halloween activities. From Monday 26th to Friday 30th, you can create your own Videoghoul, take part in a ghastly Ghost Hunt and show off your skills in our Haunted Hi-Score challenge! (NOTE: Any Halloween costumes are optional, but encouraged!)

Haunted Hi-Score

Show off some tricks to win a treat!

Every day that we’re open over Halloween, we’ll be holding a daily hi-score competition. School those ghouls on a mystery spooky game from our collection.

Spoᵒoᵒky Dream Machine

Using our Dream Machine, we’re giving you the chance to make your own ghost, and then bring it to life! Draw a ghost and then let it loose on our dream machine!

Over 80 Games to play!

All the above is in addition to the full museum experience, and included at no extra cost. This will be the spookiest Halloween event in Sheffield!
